Why don’t you carry any polycarbonate bottles?

Monday, April 7th, 2008

We have chosen not to carry polycarbonate bottles until the controversy over BPA is completely cleared up. Our philosophy is pretty simple: I don’t really care how much BPA is “safe” for human consumption. I prefer my drinks to free of as many chemicals as I can get ‘em! Please check back for more information on BPA and it’s possible effects.

Since we began this project, we’ve also developed a little “issue” with unnecessary plastic usage. We believe that plastic is a wonderful thing that has made our lives better in many ways. We just think that we need to be mindful of how much of an impact it’s having on our natural resources and our environment. “Drink Responsibly” has taken on a whole new meaning!
